God Walk - A Journey of Faith   Lesson One

In Lesson One we talk about realizing where we are in our life relative to where we want to be. We begin to deal with undesirable behaviors that have had a negative effect on our life, our family and our relationship with God.
This is the first of eighteen lessons and in each lesson we will be discussing strategies for overcoming undesirable behaviors and how to maintain victory over them. Be blessed as you walk this journey of faith.

God Walk -  A Journey of  Faith
The many lessons we learned while  working with the homeless families provided the foundation for a book and a  ministry of seeing people restored. The theme of New Hope Ministries  became Bringing the Message of  Reconciliation, Renewal and Restoration To A People and A Land. This message of restoration is the  cornerstone of our ministry today.

Lesson One: Realizing Where You Are - Day One
It seems that all of us are in the process of trying to find ourselves and figure out how we fit into the greater scheme of things as we make this journey. It has occurred to me that the only way people can find themselves is if they realize where there are. You can't get to where you want to be unless you first find out where you are so that you can plot a course to get there.
This lesson is about realizing where you are and what you have to do about that to get to where you want to be.

Lesson One: Realizing Where You Are – Day Two

In Day Two we explore Joshua 1:8 and look at what God meant when He told Joshua, “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth.” We will talk about meditating and introduce the concept of “engrafting” God’s word to our heart.

Realizing Where You Are: Day Three
Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.
Every behavior in your life that separates you from the blessing that God has intended for you was born in the idea that you could provide for yourself better than God could. God is offering peace, blessing and prosperity, and these blessings cannot be obtained by taking another path.

Lesson One: Day Four
In this lesson we explore the story of the prodigal son and the way his father responded to him when he went back home.
